Science of Reading & Multilingual Learner Modules
This series includes six engaging, self-paced modules designed to cover essential topics such as language objectives, fluency, vocabulary development, and effective assessment practices. Each module covers one topic and offers a brief overview of current literature and research (what), why it matters, and a modeled replicable process for teaching the practice in your classroom with support (how).
There are 3 ways to take the course based on the level of support and engagement you seek:
Self-Paced Learning:
6 self-paced, one-hour on-demand modules
No teacher support or feedback
Certificate of completion to give to your district or professional teaching-learning board for 7 hours
$450 per teacher for full access to all 6 modules for one year
Online Course with Assignments & Feedback:
Embedded assignments with explicit templates and in-class teaching and reflection designed to take an additional 2 hours each
Feedback provided on submitted assignments
Certificate of completion to give to your district or professional teaching-learning board for 21 hours
$750 per teacher for full access to all 6 modules, including assignment submission and feedback for one year
In-Person Professional Development & Coaching:
6 modules for asynchronous online learning
2-3 in-person professional development sessions (typically 2-3 hours each)
Personalized coaching sessions (1:1 or small group) to address specific needs and application
Ongoing support and resources for teachers post-PD session
